popo.estimation.true_state(net, transformer_index=0)

Solve the power flow and return the state an estimator has to recover.

The substation flows are negated because pandapower reports power into the transformer’s low-voltage winding, whereas a meter at the busbar reads the power leaving it towards the customers.

Parameters:

• net (Any) – A pandapower network with its loading already set.

• transformer_index (int) – Transformer whose secondary flows are read.

Return type:

tuple[ndarray, float, float]

Returns:

Per-unit voltage at every bus, active power in MW and reactive power in Mvar at the measured busbar.
