element_powers

popo.powerflow.element_powers(dss, element_type)

Per-phase active and reactive power for every element of one type.

CktElement.Powers returns one pair per conductor of the first terminal, and a single-phase element has two conductors, phase and neutral, with the neutral pair always zero. Only the first NumPhases pairs are phases.

Parameters:

• dss (Any) – An opendssdirect module with a solved circuit.

• element_type (str) – One of "loads", "lines", "transformers", "pvsystems" or "storages".

Return type:

DataFrame

Returns:

One row per (element, phase) – name, phase, p_kw and q_kvar, positive into the element.

Raises:

ValueError – If element_type is not one of the supported collections.
