popo.network.profile_circuit(dss, name)

Describe a compiled circuit at its defined loading.

Parameters:

• dss (Any) – An opendssdirect module with a compiled and solved circuit.

• name (str) – Name to record the profile under.

Return type:

CircuitProfile

Returns:

A CircuitProfile.

Raises:

ValueError – If the circuit carries no load, so there is no feeder to profile and any share computed from the loads would divide by zero.
