Size for one panel occupying fraction of a notional text width.

Parameters:

• fraction (float) – Share of the panel width this figure will occupy. 0.48 for two side by side, 0.31 for three, 1.0 for a full-width panel.

• aspect (float) – Height as a multiple of width.

Return type:

tuple[float, float]

Returns:

A (width, height) pair in inches, for figsize.
